Sue Matthews of Tay-Bandz at the Annual Reception



Sue Matthews talks to the BAF about Tay-bandz, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funding research for pediatric cancer.  Tay-Bandz was founded by Sue's daughter, Taylor Matthews who was diagnosed with cancer at age 11. Taylor always believed that individuals could make a difference through private efforts. Mainstages' Matt Dorner and Ryan Canuelle, talk to the Ben Applebaum Foudation about their organizations mentoring needs. Guest Speaker Liz Hamburg


Our Guest speaker at the 12th Annual BAF Reception was Liz Hamburg; a “serial entrepreneur” with extensive experience as an entrepreneur, angel investor and mentor to entrepreneurs and small businesses.  She is the founder and President of Upstart Ventures, where she has consulted to and incubated many start-ups including her latest venture, ApplyWise, an online college admissions counseling company.
